Finishing touches

Thanks to all the participants for making Advent 08 a huge success. A special thanks to the participants who came down to the camps for Adrena on such a short notice.

The T-shirt designing competition is still live and the submissions are open till tonight. The results of Q'riosity will be announced in a day as it is taking some time to check the huge number of entries as well as allocating points to different teams. Thanks for being patient with us!!!

Important information for Q'riosity:

* The blockbuster connect can be attempted any time during the event (Which means you can attempt it right now also)
* However, each team gets only one shot at the blockbuster, so be sure when you send the answer
* The points considered for the Blockbuster connect will be the total for four days of quizzes
* First come first serve criterion for the Blockbuster connect will be applicable only if their is a tie on the basis of total points

Q'riosity - Day 2

Special instructions for Q'riosity:

a)You are required to send the solutions to the individual questions and the mega-connect in the same e-mail each day. Some teams sent one mail for the mega-connect and a separate one for the 6 base questions.

b)The teams must also explain the solution to each question. A one word answer will not suffice. The rationale or connection needs to be explicitly mentioned, in order to win the 5 points for the individual question.

c)This particular rule has been waived for Day 1. However, going forward, any answer without explanation would not be considered valid.

d)The daily winners and the overall winner will be decided on the basis of the total points the team scores (5 points each for the daily 6 questions and 20 points for the Mega Connect Question)

We will take the first come rule ONLY in case of a TIE..

Advent 2008 - The Beginning

Advent is the annual Inter Business School competition organized by Marquity – The Marketing Club of MDI. This year Advent promises to bring out the best there is in the world of advertising for a future marketing manager. Marketers don’t work in cubicles, so, from the advertising workshop and competition to the “Think Hatke” quiz competition, we are here to get you all thinking out of the boxes.
